The Lenox Athenaeum

Founded on the 19th-century tradition of intellectual discourse, the Lenox Athenaeum offers its patrons the opportunity to explore and experience topics such as music, art and fine cuisine. Programs range from individual lectures to multi-day, in-residence, immersion programs that offer in-depth study and discourse.

Lenox Athenaeum programs are led by noted experts in their field, some of whom are affiliated with the Berkshires’ renowned cultural arts venues including Tanglewood, The Clark Art Institute and Shakespeare and Company.

Programs are held at the Winthrop Estate and historic properties throughout the Berkshires.
